Why Now
Cloudflare added WebMCP support to Kitesurf after announcing the feature for site owners a few weeks ago.
What Happened
Kitesurf runs entirely on Cloudflare Workers and is designed for agents, not humans. WebMCP lets agents invoke site functions like searchFlights() programmatically. Cloudflare now enables Kitesurf to use WebMCP tools such as navigate‑to and set‑location via the Radar DevTools panel.
Why It Matters
Agents can interact with websites more reliably and efficiently, reducing fragile click‑based automation. This opens up faster, more robust web‑automation workflows for AI agents.
The Limitation
The update is currently limited to the public Kitesurf playground and requires a Cloudflare account with WebMCP enabled; full production readiness is still evolving.
